Base:
Note: As the Christmas Tree is worked as a continuous spiral – a removable stitch marker to mark the “beginning of the round” is recommended and rounds are not finished with sl st.
Round 0: mc
Round 1: sc 6 [6 total]
Round 2: inc 6 [12 total]
Round 3: (inc, sc) x 6 [18 total]
Round 4: (inc, sc 2) x 6 [24 total]
Round 5: sc 24 blo [24 total]
Cone – decreasing:
Note: Remember to stuff the cone before it becomes too narrow. The flos should be on the outside!
Continue working sc in blo. Decrease blo every 10th stitch until 12 stitches are left, then decrease blo each 6th until 8 stitches are left. Do not cut the yarn. Turn.
Note: Additionally, you can sew the top blos before starting the branches.
Cone – branches:
Continue with the same yarn as the previous part.
*ch 3, sl st flo in the next stitch
Repeat from * until the end of flo.
Cut the yarn and weave the ends in!
HANGER: Make the hanger from the ribbon or the yarn of your choice and attach it at the top of the Christmas Tree!
