ABBREVIATIONS:
ch – chain
mc – magic circle
sl st – slip stitch
dc – double crochet
fpdc – front post double crochet
sp – space
sc – single crochet
Written Pattern:
Round 0: mc
Round 1: (sc ch) as first dc, ch 2, (dc, ch2) x 5, sl st to the first ch of the round (part of the first dc) [18 total – 6 dc, 12 ch]
Round 2: (ch 2, fpdc over the dc from previous round, ch 2, sc 2 in the ch sp) x 6, sl st to the first ch of the round [42 total – 6 fpdc, 12 sc, 24 ch the dc from previous round, ch 2, sc 2 in the ch sp) x 6, sl st to the first ch of the round [42 total – 6 fpdc, 12 sc, 24 ch]]
Note: To achieve more pointy shape pinch the tips of the star!
Possible modification: To achieve a bit of a different shape of the mini star – make a sl st instead of sc 2 in the ch sp in Round 2
Cut the yarn! Weave the ends in!
HANGER: Make the hanger from the ribbon or the yarn of your choice and attach it at the top of the star!
