Poppy is the flower of my childhood. When I was little, I always went for walks with my dad, and we picked field flowers for my mother. I usually picked poppies, cornflowers, and a pink one whose name I don’t remember. So, I had to add this flower to my granny squares collection!

I think roses are the most classical flowers. I love seeing them blooming in my real garden, so I couldn’t miss the chance to have them blooming in my crochet garden too.

I looked at this flower and immediately knew how to make it! So I decided to give it a try, and it was a marvelous decision. Rudbeckia is a really underrated flower, especially where I live, but I love its simplicity and want to showcase every detail of it. So here it is Rudbeckia Flower Granny Square!

The Shamrock is the symbol of St. Patrick’s Day, and when I started my designing career, I decided to create one design for each holiday. However, the first attempt at the shamrock, which was awesome, had some issues and was not as beginner-friendly as I thought. So, this year, here’s the new edition: a Shamrock as a stand-alone ornament, as well as the Shamrock granny square.

Sunflower was my first design in the collection. Maybe some of you know that last year (2023), I became a mom! I was super exhausted and even a bit sad about leaving my hobby (designing crochet patterns) because I didn’t have any time. One day, while I was on a walk with my little one, we saw the beautiful sunflowers in my neighbor’s garden, which really inspired me. Later, when my son was sleeping, I just took the crochet hook and created it in one try! And that’s the story of how the flower collection started!

The Toad Lily is a bonus flower in the Floral Ebook! I came up with this design while browsing the internet and saw this beautiful flower, known as one of the most unique flowers in the world. The only downside of this flower is that it is not flat. However, this characteristic makes it unique and special!

It’s actually funny because one day I was sitting with my husband and asked him what flower I should do next. He told me to do the violet (fioĊek in Polish), so I decided to do it. However, instead of searching for the Polish name on Google, I typed “violet flower,” which Google interpreted as a specific colored flower. So, my inspiration for this flower was a Google graphic, not a real flower!

Water Lily is one of my favorite flowers in the collection. The green square in the background looks like a leaf, and in that case, only the lake behind is missing. I came up with this design immediately – it was super easygoing!
