mc – magic circle
sl st – slip stitch
inc – increase
dec– decrease
flo – front loop only
blo – back loop only

Written Pattern:
Base:
Round 0: mc
Round 1: sc 6 [6 total]
Round 2: inc blo x 6 [12 total]
Round 3: (inc blo, sc blo) x 6 [18 total]
Round 4: sc 18 blo [18 total]
Pine Cone – decreasing:
Note: Remember to stuff the cone before it becomes too narrow. The flos should be on the outside!
Continue working in blo. Decrease each 6th stitch until 10 stitches left, then decrease each 3rd until 6 stitches left. Do not cut the yarn. Turn.
Note: You can additionally sew the hole
Pine Cone – structure:
Continue with the same yarn as the previous part.
*(hdc flo, dc flo, hdc flo) all in the same loop, sl st in the next stitch x2
Repeat from * until the end of flo (all the way down to the end of the base)
Cut the yarn and weave the ends in!
HANGER: Make the hanger from the ribbon or the yarn of your choice and attach it at the top of the pine cone!
