The heart design was the first pattern I created, and I was encouraged to release it by my husband. Today (22.08.2024) is our 5th wedding anniversary, and I want to dedicate this pattern to him, as he has always supported me.
I had the heart ornament in my pattern library for a while, but this year I decided to make a square around it to add it to my Granny Square Collection. The design is really simple but beautiful, and importantly, there are not many ends to weave in.
I wanted to make a basket with a knit stitch border, but to make it more interesting, I decided to try a heart-shaped base. And here it is—a heart-shaped basket with a knit stitch border!
